Here is what Joy has to say about her group : I became aware of the
difficulties Christians of the 20s30s40s age group can have in meeting other
like-minded people to socialise with particularly in my local area, and
decided I really should do something about it! I would love to see a
thriving social life in and around the West Midlands area for Christians of
all denominations and can’t wait to have fun and meet like-minded people!
I was born and raised in South Staffordshire very close to Wolverhampton and
have lived in and around the area all my life – apart from a brief couple of
years in Australia as a little girl and a couple of years away studying in
the south and teaching in the north!
I work for the West Midlands Fire Service developing partnerships with other
agencies to promote education and responsible citizenship, raise aspirations
in the young and make people safer generally. My interests include
gardening, walking, reading, dining out and socialising with friends and
family.
